New Vision Financial Partners with FOLIOfn to Make Better Investing Available to Multicultural Markets via African American Church Network

04/16/2008

VIENNA, Virginia – New Vision Financial, Inc., a financial services firm focused on serving multicultural markets, has joined forces with FOLIOfn Investments, Inc. (www.FOLIOfn.com), the innovative online brokerage firm and provider of investment services and products, to make better investing available to multicultural markets. This initiative will be marketed through the African American church network.

Working together, the two companies have agreed to provide high-quality, low-cost investing via FOLIOfn’s Folio Unlimited Plan. The Folio Unlimited Plan offers a number of diversified portfolios each of which satisfies various investing goals and strategies. These portfolios can be purchased easily and with low investment amounts, and each can be customized and personalized by any investor to suit that investor’s specific needs. The flat fee, no minimum Folio Unlimited Plan also provides commission-free trading, and will be offered with a 2-month free trial to empower new investors to start saving and investing.

This offering will be made available through a new website (www.newvisionfolios.com), currently in development between New Vision Financial (NVF) and FOLIOfn. When complete, it will provide access to innovative financial products and services to over 300,000 potential clients within the New Vision Financial prospect base in 463 churches in North Carolina and Georgia. NVF is working with the leadership of these churches to promote New Vision Folios to members of their congregations.

“We are excited to announce the alliance with FOLIOfn to provide access to highly innovative financial services,” said K. Dwayne Rahman, President and CEO, New Vision Financial. “We believe our offering, www.newvisionfolios.com, will encourage millions of people to create a retirement account through New Vision Legacy Folios.”

New Vision Financial views multicultural communities—including faith-based organizations, businesses, national organizations and individual households—as a growing market that has been underserved by the financial services industry. To help further their outreach to this market, NVF has forged relationships with both regional and national Multicultural Organizations, which represent millions of households.

“I believe New Vision Financial will help build bridges between the multicultural communities and mainstream financial resources through their Financial Development Initiatives. In doing so, these communities can begin to experience growth and prosperity in the future,” asserted William “Bill” Cheeks, President of ABBA Associates, a firm that teaches financial management and fiscal literacy to students and adults across the U.S.

New Vision Financial and the FOLIOfn partnership will be supported through an advisor field team spearheaded by NVF and NVF’s affiliate partner, Millennium Financial Group, to provide direct client access to the platform throughout the southeastern U.S. Millennium will train and hire financial advisors, each assigned to a different church in the target market, to market financial services to members of the congregations.

NVF has also aligned itself with a distinguished advisory board of faith-based leaders, which includes Bishop George Brooks of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship Executive Council; Dr. Gregory Moss, General Conference President of North Carolina; and Pastor Thurmond Tillman, Georgia Education Congress President.

Bishop Brooks, who has a 5,000-member congregation and another 5 to 8 million homes that watch his television ministry, concluded, “I think the partnership between NVF and FOLIOfn is one of the best possible marriages that can happen for the church and business worlds. The church desperately needs the services that the business world can provide—and this is a stellar example.”

“It is a great pleasure for FOLIOfn to partner with New Vision Financial in offering innovative financial services to this important part of our community,” commented Steve Wallman, CEO and Founder of FOLIOfn. “Our goal is to offer better investing at a better price for everyone.”
