Objective

The Bond ETF folio was developed for investors seeking income and conservative long-term capital preservation.

Strategy

The Bond ETF folio consists of ETFs that invest in a range of fixed income securities.

This folio provides the opportunity to invest in a diversified pool of fixed income investments that are less volatile than an investment in a single bond category. Fixed income securities can provide a source of income and also serve as a hedge against market downturns.

Steps to Create This Folio

  1. We selected all bond category ETFs offered by iShares, created by Barclays Global Investors. These are designed to closely track Bond Market indices. The folio consists primarily of ETFs that invest in different types of investment grade bonds. However, they may also invest in bonds of a lower credit quality.
  2. We equally weighted all ETFs in the folio.

Number of Securities
