MyPlanIQ SAA Balanced
Objective
This folio is designed for balanced investors seeking long-term capital growth with balanced risk tolerance by investing in a diversified array of liquid ETFs representing major asset classes. Its target allocation in stocks and other volatile assets is limited to 50%. Investors should first identify their long-term (strategic) risk tolerance and investment objective. Diversification and periodic rebalancing of the portfolio enhance risk management and capital growth. This portfolio can be the core of a larger portfolio. Please review the investment information at www.MyPlanIQ.com to ensure that this folio meets your investment objectives.
Strategy
The MyPlanIQ SAA Balanced folio uses a strategic asset allocation (SAA) strategy. This strategy is based on modern portfolio theory (MPT) and emphasizes diversified allocation across major asset classes. Risk tolerance is reflected in targeting 50% stocks and other volatile assets allocation. Periodic rebalancing is performed so that the portfolio does not deviate significantly from pre-set target allocations. A proprietary investment selection methodology is used to select ETFs within an asset class, such as large-cap value or investment grade bonds, to improve returns.

Steps to Create This Folio
- The folio was created using the MyPlanIQ Strategic Asset Allocation strategy, based on modern portfolio theory. It invests in major asset classes including U.S. equities, foreign developed country equities, emerging market equities, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), commodities exchange-traded funds (ETFs), U.S. fixed income and foreign fixed income ETFs.
- MyPlanIQ selects the ETFs based on its proprietary investment selection criteria.
- Securities were then weighted by MyPlanIQ based on the target allocation in both volatile assets (such as stocks, REITs and commodities) and fixed income assets. It then invests equally in assets within U.S. stocks, international stocks, emerging market stocks, REITs, commodities or in assets in the fixed income asset category.
Number of Securities
There are generally between 8 and 10 securities in the folio.
Update Frequency
MyPlanIQ SAA Balanced folio is generally rebalanced monthly. However, the underlying strategy has been optimized such that in certain situations, there may be no changes at a month end.
If the characteristics of the Folio have changed substantially, the securities included may change. Also, corporate actions, such as a merger, or other events may cause changes to the securities held at any time. Your returns may deviate significantly from the values displayed here, due to many factors, including how long after a folio has been updated that you place orders to update your holdings.
